Online Registration Information

North Harford Rec is proud to offer online registration for those programs that wish to take advantage of this convenient feature.  Below is a list of all the current open online registrations available to you.

NOTES:
  • If you are a program chairperson and would like to offer online registration for your program, please click here and follow the directions on the form.
  • If a program is not listed below, that means there is no current "online" registration opportunity open at this time OR the program in which you are interested does not offer online registration.

NH Dance 2025 Performance Session (Dept. 25-NT)

North Harford Dance 2025 Performance Session

Disciplines offered: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern and Hip Hop

PLEASE NOTE / Prerequisite: Your child must have already completed the 2024 technique session in order to register for the 2025 performance session. *Please reach out with questions.

Location: Slate Ridge Presbyterian Church, 1630 Chestnut St, Whiteford, MD 21160

Registration costs include a $25 costume deposit if taking 1 class and a $50 costume deposit for dancers taking 2 or more classes. 

Practice Schedule:
● Ballet: Monday Evenings
● Tap & Jazz: Tuesday Evenings
● Modern & Hip Hop: Thursday Evenings

Practice times will be finalized after final registration and emailed to dance parents roughly 1 week before the first practice. 

Recital Date (Tentative, upon HCPS approval): May 17

2024 Cheerleading - Extended Season (Dept. 27)

North Harford Cheerleading

HAWK NATION EXTENDED SEASON

> Cheer practices 2-3 times a week from 6-8pm
> Registration and practice begins in November and the season runs through March/April.
> We will compete in competitions decided on through the Cheer and Dance Extreme guidelines. For the 24/25 season there are only two competitions selected - 2/16 and 3/28-29.
> Registration includes uniform, insurance, registration for competitions, and music.
> The total cost is $300; however, the initial registration online payment is only of $150. Additional payments will be collected during the season for the remaining $150 balance.

Fall Wrestling (Coed - thru 8th grade)

  • Wrestling - Coed
  • 2 times per week on weekdays in the evening Starting November 2024 through March 2025
  • Mondays & Wednesdays 6pm - 7:15pm
  • Wrestling shoes and head gear will be needed for practice.
  • Tournaments will be optional. For tournaments a singlet and tournament entry fee will be at an additional cost to registration
  • North Harford High school wrestling room (on the left, prior to the gymnasium)

NH Rec Boys Basketball 2024/2025

  • Rec basketball for Clinic (coed), 7-8 (boys), 9-10 (boys, 11-12 (boys), 13-15 (boys)
  • Practices begin in November
  • Games begin in December
  • Everything ends by the last Saturday in February

Age Group Designations
We are using the age of the player ON September 1. Please use date of birth to determine age group; not the player’s current grade.

Clinic (coed) – Kindergarten & 1st Graders - $75 per player
Birthdates: Sept 1, 2017 – August 31, 2019

7-8 Age Group – 2nd & 3rd Graders - $100 per player
Birthdates: Sept 1, 2015 – August 31, 2017

9-10 Age Group – 4th & 5th Graders - $125 per player
Birthdates: Sept 1, 2013 – August 31, 2015

11-12 Age Group 6th & 7th Graders - $125 per player
Birthdates: Sept 1, 2011 – August 31, 2013

13-15 Age Group – 8th, 9th & 10th Graders - $125 per player
Birthdates: Sept 1, 2008 – August 31, 2011
(NO JV or Varsity high school players)

2024-2025 Chess Club (Dept. 7)

North Harford Chess Club
Registration is for Chess Club grades 3-8. Students will participate in chess instruction, chess games, and compete in a tournament at the end of the season. All equipment is provided.

  • Grades: 3-8
  • Season starts 09/11/2024
  • Season ends 05/28/2025
  • Meets every other Wednesday (excluding HCPS off days) at 6pm at North Harford Middle School
  • $30 per student per season
  • No refunds
  • Registration space is limited. For students participating in multiple rec activities, please check for schedule conflicts before registering.
