Age Group Designations

We are using the age of the player ON September 1. Please use date of birth to determine age group; not the player’s current grade.

7-8 Age Group – 2nd & 3rd Graders - $100 per player

Birthdates: Sept 1, 2016 – August 31, 2018

9-10 Age Group – 4th & 5th Graders - $125 per player

Birthdates: Sept 1, 2014 – August 31, 2016

11-12 Age Group 6th & 7th Graders - $125 per player

Birthdates: Sept 1, 2012 – August 31, 2014

13-15 Age Group – 8th, 9th & 10th Graders - $125 per player

Birthdates: Sept 1, 2009 – August 31, 2012

(NO JV or Varsity high school players)

The age group break down will be as follows:

Clinic is for ages 5 and 6 (designated for kindergarten and 1st grade) and starts on January 5th, 2026. Clinic is co-ed and practices one night a week Monday through Thursday at Dublin Elementary School. Clinic goes for 8 weeks and plays two games. One on February 14th and one on February 28th

7-8 age group, (designed for 2nd and 3rd graders) Girls basketball. Practice will be held at NHES one night a week. Games will be held on Saturdays at Norrisville Rec Center.

9-10 age group, (designed for 4th and 5th graders) Practice 1 to 2 nights per week on Monday, Wednesday or Friday nights Practices held at North Harford Middle School. Games played at North Harford High starting on Saturday December 6, 2024 Evaluations on November 3, 2025 at 5:30PM.

11-12 age group, (designed for 6th and 7th graders) Practice 1 to 2 nights per week on Monday, Wednesday or Friday nights Practices held at North Harford Middle School. Games played at North Harford High starting on Saturday December 6, 2024 Evaluations on November 3, 2025 at 6:30PM.

13-15 age group, (designed for 8th, 9th and 10th graders) Practice 1 to 2 nights per week on Monday, Wednesday or possible Friday nights. Practices held at North Harford Middle School and / or North Harford High School Games played at North Harford High starting on Saturday December 6, 2024 *Any 9th or 10th grader planning on trying out for their high school team SHOULD sign up for rec if they want to ensure themselves a roster spot in the league. ALL registration fees will be refunded to any player who makes their high school team. High school players are not eligible for this league. Evaluations on November 5, 2025 at 6PM.

North Harford Dance 2025 Technique Session

Classes offered: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern and Hip Hop

Ages for Ballet, Tap, & Jazz: 4*-18 (or senior year in high school)

Ages for Hip Hop: 7-18 (or senior year in high school)

Ages for Modern: 9-18 (or senior year in high school)

* Must turn 4 by January 1st, 2026

First year dancers must take ballet as one of the classes. Hip hop is excluded from this requirement.

Practice Schedule:

Practice times will be finalized after final registration and emailed to dance parents roughly 1 week before the first practice. 

Open House (meet the teachers) on September 10, 6:30-8PM

Girls Basketball fall warmups grades 6-12

Warmups will be at NHHS on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Warm ups will begin on 8/27/25 and run through 11/12/25

Registration is for Chess Club grades 3-8. Students will participate in chess instruction, chess games, and compete in a tournament at the end of the season. All equipment is provided.
